Echte Bakkers Harry de Groot — Restaurant in Purmerend

I recently switch from visiting Harry de Groot the centrum to the branch in Weidevenne. I start visiting the Weidevenne branch for 3-4 times a week. Overall, I like the young staff; they are friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately, today I had an incident with the so-called "manager". As usual, I buy a few Pide bread and some desserts. I asked before I buy if the bread is freshly baked today. The "manager" claimed it is fresh and not frozen. I asked again; she insisted it is fresh. Then I go ahead and buy, after 5 min before riding my bike, I opened one the bread to check its core, it turns out it is frozen. I went back and asked for a 2-min private talk with the "manager". I was trying to consider the reputation of the place and her privacy. She refused and asked me to speak publicly. I shared my findings with her. Her answer we disrespectful; she insisted it is fresh and kept offering money to wash away her dishonesty. She declined to check the bread or ask any of her colleagues to check. In the end, she said it is called "inside the bakery", although today is 29 Celsius. I left the bread & the money she is offering and go on with my day.

I'm writing this to send a message to the people running Harry de Groot. You have build a successful brand that I and many people in Purmerend love. Many of your staff are amazing. On the other hand, the manager of the Weidevenne branch is unfit for such a role. Besides, such toxic behavior from the manager will set a bad example for the young and new staff members. I encourage you to consider diving into why the manager opts for her self-pride & stubbornness over being honest and helpful to...

Goede bakker, maar er komen toch ook "oudere"mensen binnen die dicht bij je gaan staan. Zodat je hiervoor gedwongen automatisch toch uit de weg gaat .Er staan 4 stippen op de grond, dus maar 4 klanten per keer in de winkel. Vandaag stond er iemand dichtbij iemand anders zonder mondkapje en te hoesten. Dus de klant waar deze man dichtbij stond kijkt hem wat gebelgd aan, zodat de "oudere"man zijn mondkapje opdoet. Maar wel wat laat. Het jammere is dat het personeel hier niets van zegt. Zodat je zo de kans op schermutselingen zo klein...

Ik heb nu al een paar keer gehad dat het tijger wit brood geen krokante tijger korst meer heeft, wat vroeger wel altijd was. Zelf een knisper geluid als je het at, heeft het niet meer. De korst is nu taai wat voorheen pas was als je het brood al 1 dag in huis had. Het lijkt erop dat er brood verkocht wordt van...
