Good to know: This is a bakery as well as a Lunchroom They also serve breakfast from 08:30 onwards Pastry is cheaper to take away They make all things they sell in house (and you can taste that!)

Why I recommend this place: Van Toor bakery is a hidden gem. While the exterior looks stylish, the inside of this shop annex lunchroom is where the real magic happens. It's very spacious, boosting a long couch section, several tables with chairs and newspapers and, a large counter. You can pop in just to buy bread, chocolates and pastry or sit down and enjoy breakfast or lunch (e.g. depending on the time of day) or pastry and coffee/tea. They also serve an afternoon snack with wine/beer. The point being, the menu offers plenty to enjoy. The staff is pleasant and helpful. While the interior is modern, ambiance gives of the vibe of a cosy little cafe. Definitely recommend for slowing down with a newspaper on your table with an airy cappuccino in your hand. Enjoy!

Zo jammer kom je aan om 16.15u om samen, met mijn bovenbuurvrouw, een theetje te drinken wordt je weggestuurd! Zelfs nog gegoogled omdat we uit Veenendaal kwamen. Ze bleven open vandaag tot 17.30u. Maar er kwam al gauw iemand die zei dat de “laatste ronde” geweest was en dat ze gingen sluiten. Ze hadden een grote partij dus of we weg wilde gaan…?!?!?!
