McDonald's — Restaurant in Rotterdam

I often visi this McDonald’s but I must say, the only reason I keep going is its location: one of the worst managed McDonald’s. Long waiting times – the term “fast food” hardly seems applicable here. It takes always +20min for a take-away order. Staff: the management is really poor. While the kitchen team does a decent job preparing food, most of the other employees appear uninterested in working and burgers pile up and get cold. They spend a lot of time chatting or hanging out rather than focusing on getting orders out. The manager makes no effort to coordinate or motivate the team. To add to the frustration, the staff would often announce that an order is ready, only for the food to appear about 10 minutes later. Also very frequent mistakes in orders. Missing items, incorrect food, fries not even filled at half of the pack are a given: check your order before leaving!

Overall, this location needs serious improvement in terms of efficiency, management, and customer service to match the standards expected from...

Ordered a large capucino, after 15 min of waiting I asked when I get it. Got a response that the machine does not work I must wait...no sorry nothing. After 5 more minutes I asked again, was told the same and they turned their back on me. I asked for a refund (2.35) they ignored me. After telling them politely I must go to work and cannot wait 25 min. for a coffe and asking for a refund 2 more times I got ignored and just left....4 5 people were waiting for a manager to try to fix...

Er waren 6 klanten in totaal, waarvan 4 al hun eten hadden ontvangen. Met een verzoek om iets aan te passen, stond ik voor de afhaalbalie en niemand zag me. Mind you ik ben lang en heb felle kleuren aan. Zwaaien, roepen, niks werkte en dat terwijl er 3 medewerkers recht voor me aan het werk waren. Rietjes? Dubbel lopen. Krijg je niet met de eerste keer al zijn ze nu van papier. Dit gebeurde ook bij een klant tegenover mijn tafel. En als je dan om dingen vraagt krijg je vieze blikken. De vrouwelijke manager met hoofddoek loopt door de lobby heen te blèren en verstoort de rust. Ze leek ook niet zo bewust van wat er gaande was. Het eten was oke, maar de hygiene is zeer laag. Grote kans dat dit een franchise onderneming is en als de eigenaar dit leest: Ik raad je aan om geen vriendjespolitiek te spelen door mensen een leidinggevende functie te geven omdat je ze "mag" of omdat je ze kent. Verder bakken ze er niet veel van namelijk. Ook totaal niet professioneel om als een paal te staan en keihard genegeerd te worden :) Ook last van deze McDonalds? Ga dan eerder naar de filiaal op Vierhavenstraat. Daar kan deze zaak een goed voorbeeld van...
