Terrible experience

Ordered a salmon for dinner which came cold inside, after having it back to the kitchen it came broken in half and slightly warm with the comment of “we serve it rosé only, so there’s nothing else I can do”

Also, I got slightly overcharged for sodas and when I asked the server about the money difference with what it says on the menu they replied “that’s how we do it here”

So basically, the menu prices are not right, and the food is bad. In fact, the menu did not say anywhere that the salmon was only cooked rosé, isn’t this important to mention? Imagine having steak and the restaurant only serves it rare cause that’s that’s how they do it.

The window from inside the restaurant gives view to their storage and employees taking a smoke. So forget about good ambiance and nice views.

After contacting the restaurant online, no feedback was given and I realized another overcharge. I was charged for sweet potatoes that we never ate.

I went there with my friend last month with Kruidvat coupons. I took with me Sriracha sauce because I like it spicy. When I took it to put in a small bowl, the reception guy walked pass and asked what I did (in a rough bossy way). I told him Sriracha sauce. He said that I was not allowed to bring outside food here, that was for my personal consumption. (OK, I got it, probably it's about liability for the restaurant...) So, I asked if they had chilli sauce, he said yes. So I asked for it. What I got was typical Dutch Chilli sauce that was sweet and sour, not spicy at all.. for 1 euro.

Anyway, since they charged me 1 euro for that chilli sauce that I did not like, and with the tone of that reception guy.. so no tip.. (sorry for the rest of the lovely waiters/waitresses)

Still have 2 Kruidvat coupons for all-you-can-eat ribs, I will go again with my friend, and that will be it. Won't be any more visits after I use all the vouchers. Just don't like the tone/attitude...

This place doesn’t even deserve one star. It was my first experience here, and it’s a zero-star for me. We ended up at this restaurant because the one we originally wanted to go to was closed—what a mistake that was. From the moment we walked in as a group of six, things were off. Despite half the restaurant being empty outside, the first thing the waiter asked us was if we had made a reservation—seriously? When we said we were there for lunch (twice!), he gave us attitude instead of simply seating us. He finally stuck us at a table in the burning hot sun, completely disregarding our comfort.

When my husband and 13-year-old son tried to find another seat, the same waiter approached again, saying, "My colleague said she already seated you." My husband responded, "You seem to have an attitude," and at that point, we had enough. We left because we didn’t feel welcomed at all.
