Good food, at a great location & nice ambiance. FOOD: The menu offers 1/3rd vegetarian vs fish and meat options (=3 main veg-dishes options. The food is good, well prepared and dresses versions of popular dishes like a good falafel or creative new nice combo’s. Well done chef!

LOCATION: The restaurant is very well decorated with lots of plants. There is a lot of space between the tables, and with the acoustic ceiling and lots of wood this makes the acoustics nice. The cool building has a nice view on the dunes and nice to a nice walk /bike route to the beach from the parking lot in front. Has electric charging posts.

ACCESSIBILITY: They play music on good speakers, on a level that just makes the conversations of other tables less hearable(which is nice to me). There is a 2nd less steep wheelchair ramp to the entrance, and restaurant toilets are on ground floor.

SUSTAINABILITY: Vegetarian options are rightfully more affordable than meat options. They have a commendable mission of reducing plastics, but I would love to know a little bit more about that next time:) Like: what did you manage to arrange with your suppliers?

SERVICE Service is the right combination between professional and chill surfer, they really fit the place. I’m surprised by how well they looked you in the eyes when getting your order.

Reservations are to be made on their website, they don’t let you pick tables or such, but the whole place is cute so don’t worry.

SUSTAINABLE EATERY without the use of plastics Tucked away in the 'Zeetoren' behind the dunes of Hook of Holland and in front of a big (free) parking lot is PLSTK. Their goal is to become a 100% plastic-free establishment. Until now they've reduced their plastic use to 90%! They have well-sized dishes for every taste and every mood. A lot of vegan options. Like this jackfruit-kerrie (curry) salad. Also, the slow-cooked pork belly is worth a try! The food in combination with the location and view makes this an extraordinary place to go to.

Lovely spot to have a bite to eat or lounge on the terrace with a tasty beverage. The food is excellent! We had the steak sandwich and Jamaican chicken. Seeing the food was so tasty we had a slice of the lemon cheese cake as well, worth it! Overall a bit pricey but that's got to do with their location a bit too. I found it odd that we didn't get a receipt but just heard the amount we had to pay. Won't be a regular spot, but nice...
