Grand Café It Skippershûs — Restaurant in Súdwest-Fryslân

I was planning to have lunch at this restaurant today, but as I walked in, I saw something that completely changed my mind. The head waiter came out of the restroom while fastening his pants and belt — clearly just after using the toilet — and went straight back into the dining area without washing his hands.

Even worse, he immediately approached a table of guests and started taking their order. They couldn’t see him coming from the restroom because the bar was in between, but I did — and it was absolutely disgusting.

There’s no way someone washes their hands after doing up their belt. Seeing this in what otherwise seemed like a nice, well-kept place was revolting.

I turned around and left immediately. As long as that person works there, I will never eat at this restaurant. Shockingly unhygienic and completely...

Eten: was heerlijk.. Niets mis mee.

Service verlenen kon veel beter: 2 en een half sterren Het was ontzettend druk. Dus het was te begrijpen dat ze niet zo snel waren met antwoorden op vragen of bedienen. Als de bediening een beetje Nederlands konden praten/ verstaan of als eerst lieten weten dat ze Engels talig zijn. Scheelde dat een stuk minder stress voor beiden kanten met zinnen herhalen. Voor de vijf sterren, toch echt wel de bediening verbeteren. Niet alleen de taal maar ook meer om hun heen kijken ipv te wachten op een “ excuses kunt u ons helpen” Vanuit zichzelf hulp verlenen wanneer nodig als een gast bijvoorbeeld een bier omgooit, ipv dat de gast dit zelf moet oplossen.

De restaurant heeft een hele gezellige mooie uitstraling en hoop dat die zo blijft.
