Gallo Rojo — Restaurant in San Nicolaas

Great snack shop. Breakfast sandwiches are really good and the other local snacks like croquettes, loempia, and pastechi are delicious. Definitely a nice spot to visit as you explore the island and head for the beach or a road trip around the island.

Located in San Nicolaas, on the north end of the island it is reason enough to make the trip, especially to be able to experience the more rugged coast line of Aruba where you can find baby beach and Roger's beach and experience some of Aruba's caves and offroading opportunities.

Definitely make the trip to try...

Popped in here for a late night treat and got the cupcakes as well as a croquette. I got two different cupcakes one that had a “Oreo” cookie on top that wasn’t actually an Oreo, but one of the imitations and then the other one was more of a regular vanilla cupcake with icing. A real gem in San Nicolas! We discovered this place in one of Hyro´s videos and it was totally worth it! We were gently attended by Cecilia, the owner (in Portuguese!) The old fashioned counter displayed an array of delights - cupcakes, Birthday cakes, doughnuts, all beautifully decorated.
