I can not say enough about this AMAZING authentic, local restaurant! It’s our first visit to this beautiful island, and we are here on our honeymoon. Ora’s is only the second restaurant we have visited, and every other restaurant on this island now has giant shoes to fill!!! Each day a select menu is prepared with several items, for you to choose from. On our visit, the choices were curry chicken, Ox tails, curry goat, garlic shrimp, chicken wings, and a couple more selections. The food was OUTSTANDING!! So fresh, you could taste the love, and experience that went into the preparation of our meals. I have been eating curry chicken, rice and beans, and plantains for many years. I honestly have NEVER eaten any better! Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection!! The potatoes were and added delight! Do you like hot sauce? Ora makes her own!!! She brought us samples of her very hot, and her mango(made with mangos from their trees) hot sauce! I thought my husband’s head would pop off with the very hot one! We all had a good laugh!! The mango one was very hot, but tastefully sweet!! So good!! If the food isn’t enough, Ora herself is an absolute treasure!! I now have family in Aruba!! She and her husband are kind, generous, loving, funny, and the best introduction to Aruba we could have ever asked for! Don’t miss out on this gem!! The beers are cold, the Soca music sets a great atmosphere, the value is great, and it just doesn’t get any better than this!! I can’t wait to return in a...

This place was probably my favorite meal in Aruba (closely followed by zeerovers). We tried several higher end restaurants and some in Oranjestad..and no, I promise you this meal is sooo much better. It’s the perfect place to stop on the way home from baby beach (BEST beach in aruba IMO). We just happened upon it and Ora came and took our order while verbally telling us what she could cook that evening. I got the ribs (10/10, ask for them!!) and my bf got the garlic shrimp. Both served with rice, plantains, and an Aruban Mac and cheese and it was soooo good.

Also, we were the only people there other than locals so that should tell you something.

This is definitely the authentic, delicious Aruban food you are looking for, and Ora is soo sweet. We are def coming back!! Also it’s so cheap it’s insane. We loved it before we knew how much it was and couldn’t believe it when we got the bill!!...

Authentic home cooking...it's like your grandmother is preparing your food because the food is delicious and portions are substantial. We had the Curry Chicken with rice and peas, some fried plantain, and a fresh avocado slice. I would have liked to post a photo but the food seemed to have jumped in my mouth before I could take my phone out. Definitely will have to go back for the promised Red Snapper dish. If you want some good home cooked, island food I would highly recommend Ora's...the lady herself was gracious enough to come and chat with us after our meal and shared with us her passion for preparing such delicious meals and gave us a preview of what will be on the menu the following day as it could change day to day. Lovely place to...

**Restaurant Review: A Hidden Gem in Aruba** During my recent visit to Aruba, I discovered a hidden gem that left a lasting impression. The curry goat and BBQ ribs are packed with an explosion of flavors, showcasing the chef’s culinary passion. A standout highlight is the homemade hot sauce, easily the best I’ve ever tasted, adding an unforgettable kick to each dish. The dining experience is elevated by Ora, the delightful owner. Her warm hospitality and genuine kindness made the visit special. Ora’s bar and restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking delicious food and exceptional service.

This place is a hidden gem. Not only was the food so delicious, but Mrs. Ora greeted and served us herself. She made us feel so welcome! We tried the curry chicken, pork chops, and chicken satay and all were perfectly prepared and oh, so good. The food and drink prices are also very reasonable. The restaurant location on Google maps was off by a street. I submitted an edit but not sure if it will go through. So if your having difficulty, circle back one street closer to the beach, on the main drag. You won't regret it!
