Hidden gem in Aruba! You must try this place if you're in Aruba. Local food, well prepared and flavorful. I highly recommend the dishes we tried, the red snapper and the curry chicken. The fruit punch is homemade and loaded with fresh fruits. The people are extremely friendly. We sat outside and enjoyed the island breeze.

I was at Arashi Beach and a native Aruban guy who struck up a conversation with me recommended Skylake to me. I told him I wanted some flavorful food and Skylake didn't disappoint. The food is cooked by some Aruban abuelas with love. I even learned my 1st word in Papiemento.. Danke which means thank you.

When I think of a good stewed oxtail skylake is the place! The "arroz moro" and fried plantains were delicious!This time I chose the small portion because the large one is a lot! Must visit when you are in Sanicolas.

Food is delicious!! The place is small compared to big fancy chain restaurants, but what they lack in space they sure make it up in taste. Portions are more than enough to fill you up and service is very wholesome and family oriented. All the ladies made me feel welcomed and like I was at home. Yesterday I asked them for chicken, they offered me chicken with potato, plantain and tomato. The way how they asked me what I wanted was out of disgust as if I was annoying them, a little child or a bum. Everyone there refused to speak the general language of communication...
