Poor, poor, poor. Reserved for 19:00. Table not ready till 19:30. Ordered the mussels but they were not available. Calamari instead and unfortunately the batter was so thick it did not crisp up and therefore was just stodge around the squid. Husbands carpaccio was also disappointing (bulk prepped?). 20:30 came and went and still no mains had arrived. That was may be the time when we should have just left. My zeebaars was small, rubbery and completely tasteles. My husband ordered the sliptong and I have never seen anything so small - small of the chips were larger, the size of an anchovy!. The seasonal veg accompaniment consisted of cold cabbage and a bowl of the strangest salad. We had requested the potatoes as a side but they were not available. When paying I epxected to be asked "how was the meal"? but as that never happened I voluntered that we were not happy. - They did not even ask what the issues were just took the full price and said " oh sorry".

So I filled a water bottle in the toilets and my wife drank that, only for one of the staff to tell her that it wasn't allowed. And when she queried and told him that she didn't want to waste plastic bottles on water, he became quite irate. I never ever expect to be spoken to in such a poor way by anyone serving me food. The waitress with full tattoo on her right arm is totally poor. She was rude and not friendly.
We were 10 minutes later than scheduled. Then she welcomed us quite rude "Nu is het meer dan 5 uur. Jullie zijn te laat". I was speechless to see how rude she was. Beg me a pardon, lady? The restaurant is the happy business, so guests shouldn’t be made to feel bad.
