The food wasn’t anything spectacular, that’s for sure. But the real reason for this review is to tell about the awful service we experienced from the wait staff. Our waiter, Sebastian, started our evening by coming short of our table and telling us to seat ourselves. After waiting a long period of time without any menus, he then came over and asked us what we wanted to drink. I didn’t know what to say, considering we hadn’t even received a menu. When he finally brought us the dinner menu and no drink menu, he then said, “normally, we don’t give a menu until after you order drinks, but since this night is all about you, here you go!” I’ve never in my life received such a terrible restaurant experience. Absolutely very impressive venue! After a long afternoon, running around in the dunes, it's great to take a seat on their terrace. But, both waitresses were not very friendly. At first they asked immediately what we wanted to drink. We wanted to see the card first. Then they did not show up anymore. When I went inside to tell we were ready to order, the waitress rolled her eyes! Finally another waitress came to take our order. We wanted coffee and pastries. Very tasty and reasonably priced. Good variety of options to satisfy everyone’s cravings (nice fish entrees or burgers and fries for example). The dishes are also creative, for example the Dorade was a nice combination of textures and flavors and the Witlof Ceviche appetizer was a pleasant surprise. I think the bread starter and Madeline’s dessert needs improvement as they were more dry and not very flavorful.
