Indigo is a really nice restaurant, that is if you can find a place. We got lucky and got the last available booth. The ambiance here is very nice, as the tables are far enough apart so as not to feel crammed, and there is plenty of shade.
The passion fruit smoothies were awesome. The croque-monsieur (sandwich) and goat cheese salad were quite tasty. However, my kale caesar salad was aggressively salty and the dressing was too cheesy. I was told later it's made with anchovies, which was not specified on the menu (I'm a vegetarian, so I would not have ordered it). We also ordered a bottle of water, which was never served, making the salad virtually impossible to eat. Can't win em all I guess.
Another annoying part of this beach is that you have to reserve a beach chair days in advance. And when you get there, half the seats are empty. I was told they cannot add more chairs due to the limit of their lot. Still, Indigo should seriously consider getting rid of this reservation policy. If a patron wants to go to the restaurant, or decide to show up a few hours late, they should forfeit their spot to leave room for others who will make good use of it.

We are leasing a beautiful villa at Indigo beach by I think we can explore other places before going back to this beach club. The service was not as expected, they never showed up at the beach, I had to go to the bar and ordered. We ordered different dishes, we only liked the Coconut shrimp (it was really good), when I complained about the chair situation, the guy said that he charges everyone, doesn't matter if you are staying at this gated community, which I think is not fair... you have captive customers staying in here, you should offer...

The atmosphere is very chill and they have great music!
The food is fresh and delicious the cocktails are well prepared, the wine list is pleasing, and, best of all, Stefan, Bruno and the Indigo Beach staff are warm, helpful and make one feel right truly at home. Sundays are busy, so get there early enough to get sun beds with some shade! :)
Having frequented the Indigo Beach Restaurant during our two week stay, we left feeling like we had a new family. I should add that Indigo Bay provides some of the more relaxing snorkeling in Sint Maarten.
Thank you all so very much for all your kindness and service!! See you next year!!
