De Pannekoekenbakker Maarsseveense Plassen — Restaurant in Stichtse Vecht

One of my kids’ favoriet place to go. They have a kids club where every kid can sign up for free. It comes with a wallet, a membership card, and some coins. Every kids pancake you order with kids membership card gets extra coins I believe. Inside the restaurant they have a small gift shop where kids can then exchange these coins for some gifts of their choice. They have a big selection of toys, and for sure that’s why my kids love to come back here again and again.

They always enjoy Pirate/Princess pancake, looking amazing I have to say, and comes with kinderijsje. The range of choice for adults also very wide, whatever you can think of they could put in on their pancakes. Also vegen & gluten-free pancakes for the ones who needs extra care.

The price is not necessary low, with dessert & drinks included. Would be nice if they offer tap water as an option. For high end restaurant I could understand they don’t do that, but for a more kids oriented restaurant as long as everyone already order drinks, they can offer tap water.

Upstairs there is a play area for the little ones, and their outdoor area has two trampolines...

Great place for kids. Not a great place for your wallet.

I went for a visit together with my elderly friend and were kindly seated and offered something to drink and the menu. The place is decorated like a kindergarten, which struck me as odd but not wholly out of place. They offer mainly pancakes with a wide selections of toppings, from sugary fruits to complete meals-on-a-pancake. The coffee they serve is great. The cakes not so much. One pancake is priced between 7 and 19 euros.

However, the place was clean and the staff friendly and well... well-staffed. Go here for a coffee or a meal for restaurant-prices.

6/10 will probably visit again, if only for it being the only places to serve a decent coffee...

Ps. Be careful when you give tip via the QR code on the table. You will pay this double!! Have serious bad is this !!!!!!

Tried it again. Nothing to do with pannenkoeken. It must be a gift. To put so much on the "pannenkoek" and hardly have tast. The " Mexican spicy ???" Pannenkoek was just tasteless and very sweet. The "beenham" pannenkoek. Fist " full with Beenham??? Was very doubtful if it really was Beenham. And trust me. Not full. And again very sweet. Nice ambiente. Nice service , very nice wine for 16 euro per bottle 👍 but don't suspect eating pannenkoeken..

Not real a Dutch Pannekoek.. don't go if you looking for a real pannenkoek. Service nice. And you get what...
