King Kebab — Restaurant in The Hague

What is really going on here? That is the question you need to ask when you come here because it is not about the food!

I came in around 5 pm and ordered falafel. I specifically said that I only wanted falafel balls, nothing else. A few minutes later, I was presented with a package wrapped in aluminium coil. The Guy says, “I put in some patat.” Why? Why did you ignore my wishes? I wanted no French fries.

The felafel were saturated with oil and you had to dig in 4 mm until you found the spices . I don’t think there were any chick peas involved. They are a greasy spoon reusing oil. Avoid...

Ordered food at 1.15, delivery was due till 1.55. At 2.10 I called the restaurant to ask about my order, I got a fast and not very polite "it's on the way" response. Then at 2.50 I called again, and at least this time it was a more polite person at the phone, actually took the time to check/ask after my order, said it's on the way and should arrive soon based on when it left. Then 10 minutes later it finally arrived. The fries were cold, but the Greek salad, broodje döner and Nutella wraps were delicious and a nice portion ! Ordered the 1+1 pizza's a few times (in-store) and had no problems. It's a good deal for the quality. Now tried "De Bom" once but it was disappointing. It looked nothing like the pictures, was missing half the ingredients, and it's more expensive than it says on the menu. The flavor was good but since it lacked some ingredients it was plain and boring. If they had presented it as shown in the picture it would have been a great meal for a great price (even with the higher price).
