Yip & Yang's Goya Sushi & Grill — Restaurant in Tiel

My rate 3.5/5. They have a robot so you can help them to remove empty plates. Service were fast and ok. Food came quickly. I really enjoy sashimi dishes: tasty and fresh. And you don't have to pay extra for them. Sushi dishes were fine too. The minus points were grilled and teppanyaki dishes. The chef used too much oil so the food all became fried food. Too oily. The meats were not well marinated or not marinated at all. They were pretty bland. But the sauces were not delicious too. One of the beef dish smelled and tasted really bad as it was not fresh. They used spring onions and fried onions as garnishes for almost everything 😩. If the sushi dishes made good scores then warm food dishes made minus scores. The restaurant has a dessert corner. Not too impressive...

Despite the charming location, the food is not that good. Services are super slow, the portion is tiny. We were (group of 9 people ) waiting very long in between ordering and when it came , time was stretched far too long in between ordering before you got your next order. In the end, you were totally bored and your hunger is over from waiting your next food which seems like taking forever. I guess the 'all you can eat concept' is only good for restaurant marketing but not for your wallet. You got almost nothing in return for the price you paid. Sorry can't really...

The restaurant is located in the old city center of Tiel. You can park near the harbour and walk 5min. The atmosphere and interior in the restaurant are very nice, service is good, drinks and food are served fairly quick after ordering it through the tablet. The food is below par, nothing out of the ordinary; it was ok-ish. The sushi rolls, and other fish options were the best option on the menu together with the churros.

For 2 people incl 3 drinks per person we paid €92.
