We had dinner here with our toddler. The food was average, unfortunately, but not bad by any means. The service was a let down and the ladies that night seemed tired and a little fed up with everything. It's a little bare in the upstairs playrooms. Such a nice space, but it is mostly empty. I would suggest the owners just get more fun stuff for kids (even if it's from Kringloop:) ). It will be a huge help for the parents, especially since it was mostly families there on the night. There is a nice playground outside, but it is not enclosed and is right next to a road and a carpark, so supervision requied for smaller kids. We ordered a little too much food, but when asked to take it away, this was the first place in all of our years of eating out that did not have any containers to let us take the food with us. We left a full main there to be thrown away. We are unlikely to be back here, but it is not a bad place if your children are older and you are after a quick meal, especially if the service improves. It's a pitty, because the venue could be excellent with just a little...
Read moreWorst food I've eaten in my life. I ordered the "Boerenpannekoek" and I couldn't enjoy it cause it was cold and covered with green onion. The green onion supposed to be used as garnish but they put too much on top of it. So I could only taste green onion and not the pancake itself. I had to remove the green onions and placed them on a napkin. I barely finished my meal cause I didn't like the taste. Besides that I was sitting across the kitchen and while I was eating I saw how one of the cooks was constantly eating fries while working. He was wearing gloves but touching his gloves with his mouth while eating fries...just disgusting!
One thing for sure is that I'm never coming back to this place and won't...
Read moreFood was terrible. I ordered club sandwich and dare I say it was one of the worst I've ever had. Bread was not even toasted. It looks like a child made the food.
What I find very poor with the service is that the kitchen is semi open kitchen. Customers can see food coming out of the kitchen. So sometimes the kitchen staff send out food and didn't ring the bell. So the food just stands there.. not only that, the waitresses pick up the plate only if it's complete. But you only have two hands anyway, why not deliver the food immediately when it's ready? Definitely not recommended and never coming back.
The only good about this place is the design...
