Villa la Vida — Restaurant in Tilburg

Nice atmosphere and friendly staff, and the food was very nice - I don't think you'd be disappointed. It's more geared towards lunch than dinner, and there are very few fish options (mostly meat) though they are very enjoyable; they do offer a "Catch of the day" which aside from prawns/shrimp was one of the few fish options there. They do offer Vegan options.

We had a small mixup when I visited with 3 friends - this is possibly due to the current restrictions where opening times have changed but we were given the dinner menu, spent 20 minutes choosing and gave our orders only to have one of the senior waiters come out and tell us we couldn't order dinner yet, and could only order from the lunch cart, saying it's too early for dinner; but at this point the lunch cart showed that lunch finished 25 minutes ago, meaning we were in theory in limbo and can't order for 2 hours. This soured the mood a little, but they allowed us to order from the lunch menu and we then waited until the dinner menu opened up; we spent about 5 hours there.

I am consistently impressed whenever I dine at Villa la Vida. The experience as a whole is excellent, especially in nice weather when one can sit outside and soak in the sun. The staff are friendly and efficient. The menu boasts many interesting dishes. The plates are small; I recommend eating about 2–3 per person.

Do not come here if you are in a rush; I am never here for less than 2 hours. I do not recommend here for a quick meal. This is the perfect place to come to enjoy a nice relaxing meal and good conversation.

Villa la Vida is situated in perhaps the most gorgeous part of Tilburg: Piushaven. I recommend pairing dinner at Villa la Vida with a drink or two from the nearby brewery.

In short, Villa la Vida is an incredible experience with some of the most unique and delicious food I have ever had the pleasure of eating (no less, admiring with the eyes).

I like their lovely garden and colourful decorations. They also have some seats next to a river which creates a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes the dining experience even better. 😊
