Summary: great food, great service, cozy interior. Would recommend anyone to try this place out.

After having heard both good and bad stories about Restaurant Klaas we decided to go over there and check ourselves. Upon entering the restaurant around 7pm, the place was already filled up with cozy chatter of their guests. The living room size and type of interior makes you feel at ease.

Service was attentive and knowledgable. Frequenting our table at the right moment we never felt neglected nor overwhelmed. My wife was not sure about ordering a white vermouth and tonic, so our waiter offered us to try it out. If she wouldn't like it, the drink would be on the house and we would get a new one of our choice.

I had the chicken as my main, asparagus as a sidedish and the duck breast as a starter. All were really tasty and done well. I finished my meal with a chocolate mouse and coconut ice cream. I might say that this was one of the better dinners I've had this year.

Menu prices may seem to be a bit on the pricey side, but in my honest opinion you definitely get more value for your money.

Ons bezoek aan de restaurant Klaas d.d. 17 nov. 2018

Wie denkt dat het om een deftig Frans restaurant gaat met gedimd licht en geluid heeft het helemaal mis. Het interieur is stoer en eigentijds ingericht. Het is helder verlicht maar niet fel.

Er zijn twee grote groeps-tafels en een bar met barkrukken waaraan met ook kan eten. Verder 4 Persoons-tafels.

Het is er wel wat druk wat geluid en het aantal bezoekers betreft maar je kan elkaar toch wel goed verstaan en het is rustiger dan bij de grote concurrent in Akersloot.

Het eten is hier trouwens voortreffelijk te noemen. Verrassend en zeer smakelijk. We hebben een keuze mogen maken uit de herfst menukaart van 2018

Voorgerecht: een heerlijke en smaakvolle Zaanse mosterdsoep. Hoofdgerecht: een varkens proeverij met voortreffelijk mals vlees en een heerlijke saus.

De bijgerechten zoals de oma's salade en de aardappeltjes moet je apart erbij bestellen en betalen.

Alle hoofdgerechten zijn onder de €20 wat een prima prijs is en waardoor het ook interessant is om wat bijgerechten erbij te bestellen.

Uitgeest mag wel blij zijn met zo'n originele en voortreffelijke restaurant zoals Restaurant Klaas.

Onze gasten die met ons meekwamen waren ook zeer verrast. Bedankt boys voor deze smakelijke avond.

We were there for a quick meal on our way home after a long working day. We were really surprised by the quality of the food, how clean everything was and the waiters were very friendly. I also like the open kitchen
