I'm Indian while my husband is Dutch. We are both very experimental and open minded when it comes to food and travel. However I did not find a single authentic Indian food place that sold real Indian food without and telling false stories about the spices and flavour in The Netherlands ever since moved here. When we read a very positive review by a Volkskrant food critic about Indian junction, we were both curious to visit it. I have to admit I was so happy and emotional to see the variety of cuisines from different parts of India and when we ordered the food, I could smell the real flavours, understand that difference in each dish just like it's made in India. We were 4 of us and we ordered from fish tikka to saag lamb to kolkata chicken and street food Pani Puri and so much more. The owners are so hard working, it's a few months old and nothing is made with additives or fake colors at all. Visit it and make an evening out of it. Don't forget to reserve it in advance. Go with an open mind and enjoy this simple authentic place with real Indian food. And definitely drink a couple of Old Monks 😊 It's coming from a Chef who's Indian herself..

Food was good and there are few unique menu items as well. For Starters we had: Meerut ki Tikki, Hara Bhara Kebab (4pc), Chicken Hot Wings, Achari Paneer Tikka. Taste was good, not too spicy and not too much oil. Chicken wings and Meerut ki tikki are must try. For main we had: Kofta-e-Firdaus, Paneer Kadai and lamb Laal Maas. Lamb laal Maas is a must try and the kofta-e-Firdaus was really sweet like a dessert, so that didn’t go well with the breads. Breads were really good and tasty, so thats a must try. Rice was complementary for the curries , you can also ask for Naan as complementary. Overall: the price was ok for the quality and the quantity could be a little bit more. Staff were friendly and the ambience was great. Service was good as well, didn’t have to wait too long for the food. Food was served hot as well. If you live around Amstelveen or Uithoorn it’s a good place to visit and try.

Their street food, especially Samosa Chat, is the best I have had in the Netherlands! Crunchy crust, delicious warm filling whose flavours pop with tangy chutney are not all that easy to find🤤 As some one who has had it as take out several times now, I can assure you, the taste is consistent. However, I do recommend you dine at their restaurant, just for their warm and colourful ambiance. Pani Puri, Sev Puri... are all great, too! The flavours really remind me of traditional chaat back home :) Everything from their main course requires a separate review. So good! They prepare everything from scratch here, and can customize not only spice-level in dishes but also ingredients to suit your vegetarian/vegan or any other dietary restrictions. Props to the chef and the entire team for their attention to detail👍🏻

Hello Indian Junction,

I am the owner of a restaurant. My restaurant is in Amsterdam. It's a Michelin Starr restaurant.I am also the GM of a 5 star hotel in Amsterdam.I visited your restaurant with my family.your restaurant was too crowded. I have seen the review of your restaurant. It's too good.

My experience - (sad Part) - your bread was too hard ( Roti & Naan). If you sale bread like this, No one will eat this. So please change that.

Good part - your curry item is so delicious & amazing. Lamb was very good taste. I was searching for this type of taste in netherland. I haven't had the taste yet. I would like to meet your talented chef personally. Who made chicken & lamb.

I think your restaurant is doing well because of this chef & his/her food. That lamb, chicken tasted like Michelin star chef taste.

I didn't like your boss. How do you talk to your staff & chefs ? For whom your restaurant is running, you misbehave them. You are the owners, not that he is your servant. Give respect to the chefs & staff. Your restaurant will go ahead, otherwise one day you will close the restaurant.

The day your curry chef will leave the job, that day your sale will be completely down. Today the restaurant is running because of these talented chef.

Will come next time & I want to meet your super talented chef. All your services are normal. But only one thing is your taste. (Lamb, chicken all your curry). Your restaurant will not be down where the chefs...

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Indian Junction and it was truly a culinary delight. The restaurant offers an authentic taste of India, with a menu that showcases a rich tapestry of flavors. From the fragrant biryanis to the flavorful curries, each dish at Indian Junction is a masterpiece. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a delightful dining experience. The staff is attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive atmosphere.I particularly recommend trying their signature dishes like the Paneer Butter Masala. The spices are perfectly balanced, creating a symphony of taste that will transport you straight to the streets of India. The naan bread is also a must-try, freshly baked and served piping hot.Indian Junction truly stands out as the best Indian food. Whether you're a seasoned fan of Indian cuisine or a newcomer looking to explore new flavors, this restaurant is a culinary gem worth...
