Was here just for a quick bite after the tour in the Castle and before heading back home but the food was good, same as the service. A nice place to have a drink or something to eat with friends or with your partner. The place felt quiet and because of the huge windows there was a lot of light coming in, making it a warm and bright space. Since Spring hadn't fully start when I was there, sitting outside was not an option, but during Spring or Summer days it has to be a amazing spot outside also. Since we where kind of in a hurry, I ordered something quick, the food arrived pretty fast, tasted fresh, was really good. Nice place, with good food, good service and normal prices.

De Haar Castle (Dutch: Kasteel de Haar) is located in Utrecht, Holland. The current buildings were all built upon the original castle, date from 1892. Yo can arrive by car, there is a parking area, or by Uber, in around 30 minutes or by bus in 45 minutes from Utrecht Centraal Station. The regular access tickets is 17€ for adults, 11€ for children and kids <4 years old have free access It is a totally recommended visit of you have an extra day in Utrecht!

It's a shame Google doesn't allow half-star rankings, as this would be a 3.5. It's alright, it's what you would expect from a restaurant inside a venue. The chicken tandoori was fine enough, but definitely not spectacular, and the crust of the bread was too hard. The cake was surprisingly nice, flavourful without overwhelming you with one strong flavour, genuinely a nice quality. The service was fast, especially considering the amount of customers.

Two friends and I went for coffee today and were enjoying ourselves. We asked if we could each pay our own bill as we had done previously at this restaurant. The young lady told us that it cannot be done. I asked her if she could give me change for €20 so that I could pay my friend for my coffee which she was going to pay by card. I stated that I would not be paying the bill as I only wanted some change! When we all got to the till she proceeded with the bill, I told her again that I would not be paying the bill and she told that I already stated that 3 times, but she then took my money and gave me the change from the bill. I could not believe that she was sooo rude and she just left. The manager came to hear what the problem was and told this "child " that she should not have just walked away. I wanted to explain what the issue was but he told me that he wanted to hear from this girl as to what happened. He also did not seem interested in what I had to say and just said, oh but the bill has been paid. It was just a waste of our energy to try and explain to these people what we intended to do. I am 70 yrs old and was absolutely shocked that they would not speak properly to me as the customer. They obviously do not care for people to come back to the restaurant. We usually go there once a week. Just very...

We came today at 14:00 to have a late lunch. Ordered wine and soup (me) and two tosti deluxe (friends) as there was no other option because we were informed that there were no cheeseburgers left and no flamkuchen. We waited 58 minutes to get our food!!! After 45 minutes we asked what was going on because other clients who came after us were getting their food (also cheeseburger which was sold out according to our waiter) and we were still waiting… Waiter said it’s busy so we need to wait another few minutes. No sorry, nothing. We were about to thank and ask for the bill for our drinks but at the same moment two ladies brought our food. Mine soup was good. Two tosti’s deluxe were without chicken. Just two slices of thick bread with cheese and sauce. For 15€ per portion. If I knew I was going to wait one hour to get bowl of soup, I would take a cake. Unbelievable that no information about waiting time was provided. I absolutely do not recommend eating there. The service leaves much...

Terrible place with unexperienced staff. We waited almost an hour to get our food. At the beginning, we were informed that some of the menu items were not available anymore (cheesburger and flammkuchen). However, customers who came after us got cheesburgers (unbelievable!). After we had waited for almost an hour, we got our tosti deluxe, which were thick slices of bread with some cheese and a very small amount of chicken. Seriously, for € 13,95 per serving, we expected something better. Poor customers from the table next to us who came a few minutes after us, only paid for their drinks, and left to grab something to eat outside. I would expect at least information from the waiter that since they were busy, the waiting time for food was long, so we could order something readily available such as a cake. After having waited for more than 30 minutes for our food, it actually would be nice to get a glass of wine for free. Stay away from this place at least until the staff is...
