This place has a magnificent view and very decent meal options. Situated near several hiking routes its the ideal place to rest and charge up. There is plenty of choice regarding food and drinks. The price however, is somewhat on the steep side. Given the location they can charge that amount and they certainly do. The service is good. I wouldn't say it is perfect since there were minor inconveniences, but these were dealt with swiftly by the staff. There is parking nearby which is great as well. The restrooms were tidy and modern.

Very beautiful place in the middle of nature, You can sit outside or inside. The view is gorgeous. If you sit outside you sit in the middle of trees, forest and fields. I would definitely recommend this place when you come for a walk in the forest. The food was nice, ordered a salad that was delicious and the meat was just perfectly cooked 👌 theThe service was very friendly! Dog friendly :)

Visited last Saturday. Cute lunch restaurant in the middle of nature, surrounded by shady trees. The terrace outside was very popular, though we sat inside since it was a bit cool. There was often a short queue for outside tables while we had no trouble getting a table inside. Friendly service and tasty food. Would happily come back, especially on a sunny day.

Don't go here on Sunday. Everyone, their dog, and their kids are here. Fancy a nice silent walk in the woods? Too bad. Screaming children and parents everywhere. Never mind the fact that there are barely enough parking spaces to accommodate the mass exodus to the woods. If you walk far enough away you might encounter some peace and quiet. Maybe.

Top locatie, mooi terras buiten onder de bomen met mooi uitzicht op heide en bos. Beetje chaotisch op drukke momenten, een tafeltje bemachtigen doe je door voor te dringen. Wij waren netjes aan het wachten maar een stel aso's kropen gewoon voor. Tijd om te bestellen: bediening heeft geen idee wie aan de beurt is om te bestellen en daardoor moet je vrijwel continue de aandacht trekken van de bediening. De jongen die het eten brengt verwijst je naar een collega, dat wordt niet voor je gedaan. Ondanks de drukte en de waarschuwing dat eten bestellen lang duurt toch snel de drankjes en ook het eten. Eten van Makro/Sligro kwaliteit: niets speciaals maar de prijzen zijn aanzienlijk. Glaasje wijn 4 euro terwijl de fles waarschijnlijk 3 euro kost. Iig had de witte wijn een bijzonder zure nasmaak en een misselijk makend gevoel bij mij (=persoonlijk dus). Een tweede keer; ja maar dan voor een kop thee of een colaatje.

Dit is een prachtige plek om na een heerlijke wandeling te gaan zitten en iets lekkers te eten. De kaart is divers en de gerechten zijn stuk voor stuk zeer goed bereid en smaakvol! Het personeel is ontzettend behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Honden zijn toegestaan en hebben een plek om te drinken. Het terras is ruim van opzet en biedt een fantastisch uitzicht over de heide en de bosrand! Smakelijk eten en een fijne wandeling gewenst! Waarbij ik persoonlijk aanraad éérst te gaan wandelen. Eenmaal op het terras is het namelijk moeilijk opstaan... Rolstoelers zijn van harte welkom. Er is zelfs een route van 1,8 km voor hen om lekker het bos te ervaren. Voor kinderen zijn er kinderstoelen. Ook kunnen zij zich met allerlei opdrachten in het bos vermaken (klim als een eekhoorn in de boom)! Moet ik nog meer zeggen? Geniet van lekker eten en drinken en voel je welkom bij het echtpaar dat dit prachtige chalet runt!
