I brought my parents and grandmother who were visiting from Brazil and came here after waiting the whole week for the high tea.

I booked via google for 4:30pm and when we arrived at 4:15pm we were told that we could only select the a la cart dinner, which we didn’t want as we were planning the high tea for already a week. We didn’t see any good will from the employee who kept saying that a high tea was not possible since they only could have that until 4:00. He didn’t offered any understanding, not even when I showed him that via their website it was possible to book high tea even at that time for the same day at 5:00pm, so his excuse didn’t make any sense.

We decided to stay because we were in a group with 3 elderly people. They messed up with our orders and the food was not even that thing.

Such a pity. Waiters don’t think about the negative impact this kind of approach has on the customer’s experience.

I was here a few months ago with coworker friends and only for a drink while the rest of the party stayed for dinner I paid my share and left, the server messed something up in the billing system because I learned the Monday after that the rest of the party still had to pay for my drinks and there were more problems with the receipt. maybe the server(s) had a bad day or something but also during service everything seemed to be a mess, maybe having a few English speaking people mixed in with dutch people threw them off. I believe the main person of our party did end up fixing it with the place that week but still did not have a very experience here. its been a few months maybe...

The food was okay, it wasn't expertly prepared but fine. What did bother somewhat was a lack of cohesion in dishes, lots of flavours didn't really fit together well so I'd advise to go there for the tapas. The same can be said about the service. We got very different vibes from different servers. Some seemed very high class in the way they introduced us to the dishes, but others felt more homey. The atmosphere inside was nice, quite homey. However, the womens toilets were very cramped, I had the toilet paper at face height about two inches (5 cm) away. (can't speak...
