Grieks Restaurant Kreta — Restaurant in Venlo

The food and retsina were OK, the staff was friendly however: when I made the reservation they did not mention they would start cleaning up early. Roughly from 20hrs the staff started to pile up chairs and tables almost next to our table. When we made a complaint they apologized but continued. It wasn't possible for us to enjoy our dinner anymore. I consider this selfish and disrespectful behavior. They could have made a gesture e.g. to offer a coffee on the house but nothing. Everybody was too busy cleaning up. We felt we should leave ASAP. What should have been a nice evening ended very disappointing. It was our first visit and a miracle must happen will we ever...

Had dinner with family at restaurant Kreta. This is not the first time for us, but in my opinion the price/quality ratio is unfortunately missing!

Staff and service is super nice and helpful, but the food has simply become too pricey. It's therefore not helpful to fully invoice an extra ordered small portion of Tzatziki.

In nearby Kaldenkirchen (Germany) are several high-quality Greek restaurants (Olympia, Greece Palace & Odysseus) and in this way Kreta in Venlo literally prices itself out of the market!

The service can be so nice, but with a too high price per meal and a 'cook who cooks so well' the locals will look for a nice Greek dinner...

PL Polecam z czystym sumieniem to miejsce. Od samego wejścia do lokalu byłem mile zaskoczony podejściem obsługi do gości. Profesjonalny serwis, przemiła obsługa. Bardzo dobre jedzenie. Poczułem się jak w Grecji w której nigdy nie byłem. Tak sobie ją właśnie wyobrażam. Obsługa naprawdę zasługuje na wyróżnienie. Wspaniała atmosfera. Chce się tam wracać i przebywać bardzo długo.

NL Ik beveel deze plek van harte aan. Vanaf het moment dat ik de zaak binnenkwam, was ik aangenaam verrast door de benadering van het personeel naar de gasten toe. Professionele service, zeer vriendelijk personeel. Het eten was erg goed. Ik voelde me alsof ik in Griekenland was, een land waar ik nog nooit ben geweest. Dit is hoe ik me Griekenland voorstel. Het personeel verdient echt erkenning. Geweldige sfeer. Je wilt er graag terugkomen en lang verblijven.

ENG I wholeheartedly recommend this place. From the moment I entered the establishment, I was pleasantly surprised by the staff's approach to the guests. Professional service, incredibly friendly staff. The food was excellent. I felt like I was in Greece, a country I've never visited. This is how I imagine Greece. The staff truly deserves recognition. Wonderful atmosphere. It's a place you want to return to and spend a long time in.

DE Ich empfehle diesen Ort von Herzen. Bereits beim Betreten des Lokals wurde ich angenehm überrascht von der Herangehensweise des Personals gegenüber den Gästen.
