Steak And More — Restaurant in Venray

Delicious marinated ribs. Very good chips and beer. That alone is worth coming here for. Steak nothing of the sort, not worth it. Grilled vegetables we got very greasy and not tasty. A restaurant without any atmosphere.

Poor service, more sitting on their phones than looking to see if anyone in the room wanted to order or pay. Besides, people without positive energy.

In addition, we were refused a table on the first floor despite being seated because "the staff are waiting for the guests who are there to leave so that they can clean up and close the upper floor". Despite the fact that there were a few hours left until closing time. In the end we finished dinner earlier than the guests upstairs so the decision of the staff was completely pointless.

It's a real shame because upstairs there could be a cool view outside and a much better dinner atmosphere.

In summary, pop in here to eat ribs with chips and a large beer but don't waste your money on anything else and don't expect a super atmosphere.

Cozy restaurant in the center of Venray. My girlfriend and I were looking for a nice restaurant on a Sunday afternoon, after a few minutes walking we found Steaks and More. We were immediately greeted by a waitress who arrange our table. We were asked to fill in the covid-19 forms. The ambience of the place is really cozy and chill. We ordered drinks first, cola and Nojito (alcohol-free mojito). The latter was very refreshing, with a strong ginger and mint taste. I really liked it! For main dishes, she ordered a schnitzel (sauce for choice: red wine) and I ordered the 200 gr entrecote (medium done, sauce for choice: champignons) with friets as side dish. If I could give this place no stars I would. First of all it is very overpriced and no flavor, thats just their appetizers. To each their own, we never even got to the main menu. I don't know if it had to do with us being foreigners or people of color, but I am pregnant and my toddler was with us. You would think that they want to serve us as quick as possible. Instead I witnessed every (white) customer after us being served while we waited, we waited for an hour and a half. Finally we told them to give us the check for whatever was served and suddenly they told us that our food was 2 minutes from being done. Mind you I ordered a salad and my husband ordered a steak.
