The location was good. Free parking. A pretty lake - excellent for paddleboarding. Not easily accessible by public transport.

If you are swimming, they have a shower and changing room. The shower and changing room are shared. They do not have a private changing room. The shower is hot. The outside bathroom was wet, sandy and dirty. But the inside bathroom (in the restaurant) was clean.

On the day we were there. There were not enough servers, so ordering food / drinks took a very long time.

The food was average. I ordered the steak medium-rare and it arrived well-done (which I thought was a shame). The poke bowl lacked flavour. And, they did not have anything to season it with (like soy sauce, wasabi, sri racha mayo etc.) The pasta was also flavourless. The desserts were tasty, but not what we expected. Super place in the wild. Water sports Kitesurfing, Windsurfing, diving and many other attractions I was offered here as well as equipment rental which is very important. I also recommend coffee. Unfortunately, I did not eat anything but the marking of the door in the toilet put me in a fantastic mood and I was happy to look at the restaurant drinking coffee at all the people who were here very happy and engaged in some water sport. Bei unserer Ankunft wirkte das Hotel mehr wie ein Hostel. Das erste Problem bestand schon darin, die Rezeption zu finden, da das Schild dafür nur ab und zu mal draußen stand. Auf Anfrage wurden wir ins Hotel geschickt und suchten dort nach einem Mitarbeiter. Eher durch Zufall und erneuter Nachfrage fanden wir die Rezeption, die sich in der Surfschule befand.|Haben im Voraus die Gebühren für den Hund bezahlt und den Schlüssel bekommen, mehr aber auch nicht. Wann Frühstückszeiten sind konnte man uns nicht sagen und auch sonst gab es keinerlei Infos.|Das Zimmer war sauber und funktional eingerichtet. Allerdings hatten wir weder Handseife noch Duschgel (wurde immerhin nach vier Tagen aufgefüllt) im Bad. Nachts aufgrund der Autobahn relativ laut, auch bei Regen wird’s durch das Blechdach sehr laut im Zimmer - das ist aber ok. Schlimmer ist die laute Partymusik am Wochenende, die bis in die Morgenstunden ins Zimmer dröhnt.|Das Frühstück war selbst für niederländische Verhältnisse mau. Ausschließlich abgepackte Sachen und selbst für den Kaffee gabs nur abgepackte Kaffeesahne. ||FAZIT|Für einen Kurztrip zum Surfen in Ordnung. Wenn man aber kein Hostel, sondern für den hohen Preis ein serviceorientiertes Hotel erwartet, ist man hier falsch. Wir würden dort nicht noch einmal Urlaub...
