Amazing place to eat. Quality food, creative menu options, perfect coffee and a long list of tea's. The back garden is secluded and early in the year warm enough for an al-fresco session. Indoor you'll sit in the beautiful old interior of the old coffee and tea shop. It's completely authentic and Jugendstil. Absolutely great experience. Prices are competitive. Definitely a place to go to when visiting Friesland. Highly recommended!

Absolutely great and cosy place. You sit in the backyard of the museum, for us in July this was a perfect spot with a cool breeze blowing off the summer heat. I had a plain pancake which was great, my wife enjoyed a local “planet” beer that she liked a lot. Staff was very attentive and friendly. There also is enough space to park your stroller. We went back to this restaurant after a few months. What a disaster... the service is extremely slow. A couple next to us left because they were tired of waiting. We had to be looking for the waitresses to order lunch. Once we ordered, we waited 45 minutes to get it and the order was not complete. The salads had a huge amount of raw onions which we are still tasting...
