Ribhouse Texas Woudenberg — Restaurant in Woudenberg

I'm going to do this in English because I bet Americans would like to know about this place too.

First things first: you might not want go here if you really don't appreciate the atmosphere of a cowboy saloon, loud noise included. And I guess if you're a vegetarian there is not much to choose from, but in that case, why are you looking at reviews for a Ribhouse?

In any other case, you should ABSOLUTELY check this place out some time. Great food (probably the best steak I've ever had), lovely personnel, cool theming. They dress up the place and even hire actors for Halloween and Christmas... but you should not expect to experience that without a reservation, as those days are often booked full -months- ahead of time! And in the case of a birthday, you can order a birthday icecream cake, mini-parade included.

The place was quite nice and well organized even with Covid-19 measurements taken. The food was okayish. Not the best but okay. I had the mixed grill. Unfortunately the steak part of the mixed grill was the worse. I had to spit a part of the steak because it was unchewable. My gf had the spare ribs which were much better. The waitress asked me what sauce I wanted with the fries which we had ordered. We chose ketchup. Later on I noticed that they had charged me 1 euro for a smidge of ketchup. Neither nice and neither smart if you ask me. Every restaurant which does similar politics, loses 1 star for me. Avoid the onion rings too, they are just the frozen supermarket ones and nothing special. Overall a nice experience but not...

Ribhouse Texas in Woudenberg is zeer populair. Er met de auto komen was geen probleem. Maar een parkeerplaats vinden is iets andere koek. Zeer druk ..... En ( te ) weinig parkeergelegenheid. Dat even voor af. Omdat we met best wel een grote groep mensen waren hadden we al maanden geleden gereserveerd. Voor de grote van de groep was de tafel die we kregen niet echt passend. En iets bestellen duurde eeuwen voor je het eindelijk had. Zowel het eten ( wat deels begrijpelijk is) als het drinken (wat dus niet begrijpelijk is) duurde erg lang. Het geluid van de geluidsinstallatie staat tussendoor op een acceptabel volume . Echter is er meerdere keren per avond een verjaardag te vieren. Dit wordt dan luid aangekondigd. Met daarbij harde muziek. Te hard ( en vaak ook te schel naar mijn gehoor). Moest gewoon mijn vingers in m'n oren doen omdat ik oor en hoofd pijn er van kreeg.

Waarom geef ik ze dan toch nog 4* als resensie? Het eten was perfect wat ik had. Alleen zou ik op basis van wat ik van de anderen geproefd heb niet zo gauw kiezen voor de 900 grams T bone steak en de Ribs. . Maar de rest was super lekker. Vandaar de 4** T eten was zelfs wel een 5'e waard geweest. Maar ik Mats ze daarom nu met 4 sterren. Personeel is ook erg vriendelijk en dat helpt ook wel. Kun je goed tegen drukte en lawaai ? dan is deze gezellige tend zeker iets voor jou. Zoek je lekker eten in rust ? Dan zou ik verder zoeken. Als ik er weer heen ga dan neem ik oordoppen Mee tegen de herrie. Hoop hiermee voldoende geïnformeerd te hebben. Met vriendelijke groet...
