Te Puke Food Hut — Restaurant in Bay of Plenty

Absolutely DISGUSTING. My partner went in and ordered two smorgasbord. Chicken was dry and powdery looking and tasting,wontons were so dry it tasted like dog food, all the food was returned, the owner was extremely rude worst customer service I will be contacting health and safety in regards to cleanliness and staff. This is not okay the food is not prepared properly and I wouldn't even feed it to my dog. He got aggressive when I said I wanted a refund he gave me half the money back even when I returned two full smorgasbord and I went back to the chinese take away across from them which is absolutely beautiful food. This place needs a wake up call...

Fantastic place to come for a smorgasbord. Everything in place to keep us safe in these times with very attentive staff and plenty of delicious food and a lovely choice of dishes. Tables cleared of dirty dishes frequently so you can taste more delicious morsels. Situated in the fraser cove there is no worries with parking so you can take your time. Make sure to put something in the tips glass because it is well deserved. Everyone should experience this restaurant....

We have lived in Te Puke for 14 years now, this is currently the BEST FUSH & CHUPS available in Te Puke... if you get "Smiley" the owner cooking the food for you it's even better!
