Disgusting place. Service was absolutely horrible, we genuinely felt unwanted there. Popped in for a drink, when a sweater caught my eye, it didn’t have a price tag so my husband asked a staff member how much it was, they rudely remarked ‘you wanting to try that on’ and then pointed to a closed till and said ‘go over there’ We stood waiting there for 10 mins whilst 5 other members of staff stood around chatting, we asked for help again and got ignored. Never felt more uncomfortable and inconvenient

In response to the reply from the company. We went to every counter so don’t blame the customer and we were treated poorly by every member of staff regardless of their uniform; cafe workers, chefs, non uniformed staff, and partnering companies staff. Even if the people we spoke to first were from a different company if you are partnered with them then they must surely still represent your company and brand. Who would want people acting like that and treating paying customers in manners such as this representing...

Had to wait nearly 25 minutes just to heat up 2 muffins, and we almost missed our tour bus because of the delay. Service was extremely slow, especially during rush hour, and the staff seemed indifferent to the growing queue of customers.

Prices are beyond ridiculous — one simple sandwich was around $10–$11, an almond croissant over $8, and even a small muffin costs more than $6. A small bag of chips was over $5, and a basic coffee was $5.50+. Not worth it for what you get.

Most Milford Sound tour buses stop here, but honestly, the only thing worth using is the toilet — assuming they’re decent (we didn’t even get time to use them because we were still waiting on our food!).

Wouldn’t recommend stopping here for anything other than a quick...

I had a really great time here due to the alpacas next door! The food was ok though. I got the hotdog and chips since everything else seemed overpriced which was ok (I was surprised to get a fried sausage instead of a hotdog in a bun though, but maybe this is an NZ thing?). I also got a flat white which was ok.

The real highlight was feeding the alpacas next door. The cafe doesn’t really advertise it but the neighbouring fences have signs about alpaca food and you can ask the cashier to buy some. The alpacas were on the far side of the field but I shook the bag of food and they came running over! I spent $2 on alpaca food and though it was a great deal for...

This is not a fine dining place, but rather a very useful stop for some meal and for buying the things that you are missing while traveling through New Zealand. This place has it all - clothes, sunglasses, car chargers, cosmetics... And what's the best, you don't pay too much for it. Actually, this is one of the cheapest shops with the supplies for travelers that I have visited at New Zealand. Besides practical things that you need, you can also buy some presents here. Offer of the restaurant consists mostly from sandwiches and cold meals, but the place also has some hot dishes and pizzas to choose from. The ordering happens at the cash desk.
