Bought crumbed Gurnard, it smelt very fishy and unfortunately we have been sick from it. 2 of the pieces weren't gurnard. The chips were great. But please don't sell fish that's not fresh. This is the first time it's happened, I have never had a problem, but I believe it has new owners for a while now. Hey, I am a local, this place is consistantly very good. FRESH..Fish choices are great, and battered/Crumbed fresh. You pay for what you get, fillets of your choice, gurnard, terakihi, even blue cod sometimes. If you want shark, then go somewhere else.Chips are good, and squid rings great.
