It looks like a family owned garden and restaurant, when entered you'd face with a large garden selling plants and at the end of the garden there is this restaurant. It's got a nice interior design and open area to sit and enjoy your time. I went there twice two days in a row for lunch. I've had Satay Chicken Croissant and Grilled Steak Sandwiche, one word, it's an absolute 5 star food. It might take a little long to serve you your order but the taste won't let you down. The volume of Grilled sandwich is also very satisfying and the crispness and taste of chips is unforgettable. If ever went to Napier or hastings, definitely recommended.

Amazingly super friendly staff - the best service I've had in a long time. Brilliant food and coffee. Even though they were extremely busy today nothing was a problem. Caters for all types of dietary needs. Did I say the coffee was the best. Beautiful outdoor area to sit at of you want. Indoors is spacious. Will definitely be back.

I am giving 1 star & very lucky to get this star. The service was appalling, sent one under cooked meal back & got an attitude with it. The outside sitting area looks drab a real let down from previous visits. This place has obviously changed hands. No customer service follow ups. Have lost us...

I come to potting shed a lot however today MOTHERS DAY was pretty appalling, my children cried as we left. We ordered our Kai, patiently waited as it was really busy being Mother’s Day however an hour and a half later I ask the young boy who was waitressing at the time “where our Kai was” he said it could be a long wait
I then said to him “we’ve waited long already” he then walks off to see what’s happening and in this time my partner goes to the counter to see what’s happening, he is told we will have to wait another half an hour for our food, he tells the chief we’ve been waiting for an hour and a half and he’s seen people that came later than us receive their meals, the poor chief was unknown to our order and said “I can do your order but it would take 30mins” by then I just wanted to leave. The main girl who serves the customers then tells us “OMG we have a new girl who lost your guys order” “two options wait for your meal or get a refund” Of course we’re going to get a refund but DAMNNN that was not the point, the point is we waited that LONG just to be told our order was lost. WHY WAS THIS NOT ADDRESSED EARLIER!!!!! Apart from all that IT RUINED MY KIDS SURPRISE BREAKFAST THAT THEY SHOUTED FOR MUM!!! I’m so upset that my children cried in the car park. We did receive a refund and a comment about “my teeth being pretty” and that I should apply for a job there next time I’m in there which I thought was really sarcastic
. Just for future reference I’m a social worker, no way would I work in hospitality after that service we received today.

Just thought I’d put it out there, you cannot run a cafe when it’s busy with ONE CHEIF one front of house and one floor person. You may need more staff to help out when...

Absolutely terrible experience and service. I took a group of visitors from Wellington into the establishment. The girl at the counter started to write our orders down, when I asked “do you have payWave?” Because several of us were relying on payWave, she replied with “kore!” Meaning no. I said ok fine, and was happy for others to eat because I was unable to pay. She told me I could do the dishes instead of paying, which surely was a joke. So I responded with - oh no, I don’t do dishes (HA HA). We had a giggle. She stepped back, told all 9 of us that we’re just rude and she would not serve us, started to get very aggressive. Made a point of knowing one of us and pointing at him, saying “I know you, you’re just rude, your energy is yuck! I’m not serving you!!” We were absolutely blown away & disgusted by her response and left immediately. I would never recommend or re-visit this place! Very very poor service. You don’t go out for a breakfast with out of town visitors to be attacked. DISGUSTING SERVICE...
