First time coming. Wanted to try something authentic. It is a small place which does takeaway food as well. However, I came to experience Persian food. I ordered Vaziri, which was Lamb and Safron chicken with Safron rice, charred Tomato and Salad which came with Garlic Yoghurt. The price may have increased as it was a few dollars more expensive than the past reviews, but it really didn't matter considering its Persian food in NZ and the food was really tasty. Also the portion was huge. The lamb was very juicy and seasoned perfectly, chicken was also very tender. The sourness of sumac (which the owner explained as a Turkish seasoning) and the yoghurt cut through and balanced out the richness in the fat of the meat. The rice was fragrant and also complemented well. The owner was very friendly, and helped me to decide what to try as I am not familiar with Persian food. He asked if the food was good, and I gave him double thumbs up. Overall, I would come back, it was a fun experience, and most importantly the food was very good. I wouldn't say the price is cheap for one meal, but it had huge portion and authentic and tasty flavour. Thanks for the experience!

Kebab shops are a dime a dozen in most towns these days, but this particular one is something special and stands out amongst those dimes like a shiny silver dollar. Tucked away in Massey, this family-run joint offers more than just your standard kababs and is an absolute must-try if you fancy yourself a fan of Persian food. The menu is tidy and offers a delicious range of freshly prepared food that will absolutely blow you away; the kebabs are glorious, the Souvlaki mix on rice is absolute fire and always well presented. The salad deserves mention too - crispy and fresh, and the hummus is spot on. I’ve been there on four occasions in the last two weeks and they’ve nailed it each time. If you’re reading this review and tossing up the idea of a filling lunch/dinner at a great price; stop your internal dialogue, set the direction and go. there. now! The owners should be proud. I wish them every success with this place. The customer service from the guy working the till gets an honourable mention too :)

Disgusting customer service, I asked for a menu and was told “ too much money” take a photo. I made a phone order and clearly stated 2 kebab combos and 1 other kebab, I went to grab my drinks and the rude lady at the counter said “ NO JUST DRINK NOT DRINKS” , I told her I ordered 2 combos and she told me “ no you never say that “. May as well have ordered vegetable kebabs as there was about a teaspoon of meat in each of the 3 kebabs. Dry as a paper towel, no flavour. My 2 minute chicken noodles have more flavour than what I was served tonight. I will never buy food from here again. Chips tasted like they were in the frier for 2 minutes max. Chicken looked and tasted like it had been recooked and reheated 3x
