Hell Pizza Ormiston — Restaurant in Howick

i never write reviews and have never been bothered to take the time out of my day to do so. if i could give this place 0 stars i would, i walk into the place and asking for the “Doobius” pizza or whatever it’s called, of course i came for the grinder that it was advertised for, i ask the indian staff if i still get the “GRINDER” with the snack pizza, he said “no, you can only get the grinder with the double” so okay i order the double expecting my grinder. i wait about 15 minutes and i get my order but im missing my grinder. i ask him, “where is the grinder bro?” he then tells me how it was sold out in 2 days, so i confront and ask him “so why’d you tell me that i can get it with the double if its been sold out?” he then proceeds to lie and say “i told u from the beginning that it was sold out” and then as i try to confront him some more, he rudely interrupts me and tells me “but bro you need to get out now, im closing the store now, you need to leave now” so i just leave with $28 bucks wasted when i could have just went to pizza club if i actually wanted GOOD pizza. whoever is in charge of this establishment, you need to sort out your staff because this behaviour is absolutely unacceptable, teach your staff how to not lie to their customers, i would have respectfully said “okay no worries” and left the store if he had just simply told me “sorry we are sold out of the grinder” from the beginning. save your money guys and go elsewhere, hells pizza ain’t...

Ordered off Uber Eats and decided to pick up the meal from the restaurant. I arrived there as soon as the app notified me that my order was ready to be picked up. However, when I got there the store seemed to be closed with the lights off and door locked. I rang the store about 6 times to only hear the phone ringing inside and not being picked up. No one was inside the store. I waited outside for about 20 minutes and lodged a complaint to Uber Eats wanting a refund. Uber Eats was really understanding about the whole situation and gave me my refund...

placed an order to get delivered got a call asking to come out as they couldn’t find the house, I explained there at the wrong address and recommended they input my neighbour's address to try solve the issue and was welcomed with attitude and not willing to listen. after saying I’ll call the shop and organise something to resolve the issue as I know were I live she magically found my address. I expect better, people make mistakes and that’s understandable but the attitude and not listening to friendly advice is poor. different...
