Went to get contactless order via online. I phoned prior coming in to pickup but the staff just hung up because he couldnt understand English. When I came, order was not even started yet and we were using sign language and i had to use Google translation on my phone so they can process my order. The staff were not wearing mask too and the front desk man even approached me so close without wearing a mask. No point of argument as obviously they wouldn’t get what I mean. We've tried its predecessors a few times and they were no where near good. We've seen No. 1 BBQ's name sitting there for a while now and finally decided to try dinner there for my dad's birthday. Staff is super friendly - especially since I'm so used to much grumpier, sometimes even plain rude waiters at chinese restaurants. I'm hardly used anymore to words like "good morning" or "thank you" or "welcome". Everyone spoke English, or at least tried their hardest.
The food was good. Not the absolute best I've tasted, but very enjoyable all the same, especially combined with the overall positive experience and decent pricing. Would recomend to anyone who asks! Only make sure to come early or book on weekends. It...
