Little Amigos — Restaurant in Marlborough

This restaurant proved to be a wonderful surprise, located where it is, in Redwoodtown, an area not renowned for its eating establishments. We had actually eaten here about 2 and a half years ago and we therefore took this opportunity to compare both experiences. We were not disappointed. It's a really nice vibe, the staff are efficient, kind and friendly. The owner tended to us with knowledge and efficiency. The food was really, really good and exactly as described on the menu. Excellent value at $122 for 4 entree sized dishes, a plate of fries and a bottle of wine. Achieving consistent standards of good food, combined with appropriate, good service is a rare treat in NZ, and Little Amigos deserves all the plaudits it receives. Thank you,...

Me and my wife have always wanted to visit the place. We were not disappointed. The food was great, and the atmosphere was pretty cool (heaps of mexican themed displays). I was hesitant at first at getting the burrito (carnitas) because I thought it was going to taste like a typical burrito from a mexican fast food here in NZ but I was pleasantly surprised how good it is (especially the cheese that they used). The spiciness is very mild, but there are a few chili sauces in the table that you can douse your food. I should've asked to make my food spicy. Anyway, it's really worth visiting with family...

Absolutely incredible restaurant! Best meal out as a family we have ever had! The place is clean and tables not sticky. Excellent service by friendly, fast responding and courteous staff. We asked for the kids meals to come out first and in my son's words "it was 10 seconds, BAM, food here and then 20 seconds, BAM the adults food was here" Meals were delicious and excellent portion sizes. All well fed but managed to squeeze in some scrumptious dessert too. All 7 of us commented about wanting to come here again. Thank you for such a wonderful experience...
