Eddyline Pizzeria & Brewpub — Restaurant in Nelson

I'd heard about this restaurant from some friends who had been there recently. They said it was quite bad but it could have just been a one off night so I thought I'd give it a go anyway. After being shown to a table and given a menu I waited for the waitress to return only to be told that I had to go up to the bar to place my order. Why she couldn't have taken it there and then is a mystery. I had no sooner got to the bar when someone took my table. I then had to try and claim it back as there were no other tables available. I chose a vegetarian pizza, some chips, and a Sarsaparilla drink.When the pizza arrived I found it hadn't been cooked long enough, the topping was very under cooked and the dough floppy, still raw on the bottom. The chips were covered in way too much salt. The only thing good about my order was the drink. I thought it was expensive compared to other pizza restaurants in Nelson such as The Hot Rock or Stefano's Pizzeria. A very busy and comfortable place to meet and eat.

We had lovely service, did not have to wait long.

It was very clean and comfortable, family friendly with nice decor.

Patrons were all happy and there was a very congenial atmosphere with lots of groups enjoying the space.

Staff were all pleasant and working together like a well oiled machine!

Pizza bases were thrown around like spinning basketballs.

The pizzas were all so delicious and could all be recommended as a wonderful treat. There were great vegetarian options.

Their non-alcoholic drink choices were good.

They had a great Ginger Beer.

We came to this venue instead of their other just because it was closer. Maybe a mistake. The beer weren't their interesting ones here. The server was anything but friendly, don't know if he knows that he was though. They only had one beer that was alright. But pricing, my god... 34 dollar for a tasting paddle? That's robbery... was going to give a 3 star untill I took a beer from another brewery here .. it said 14 dollars so I ordered it to come after the paddle. When I got it I had to pay 18 dollars?
