We booked with First Table. Our main course were ok, pulled pork burger and a Cajun chicken burger. As starter we ordered a Charcuterie board (on the menu for $ 16.50). It was disappointing.. they do not know what Charcuterie is we got some bread ,some olives, butter and some sundried tomatoes.. but no meat,or pate or cheese...The decor is boring, has no decorations or flair. Part of the lights were turned off and the only TV on the wall was off too. No complaints about the service.

Spent over $200 was very disappointed. The best thing that I would recommend was the rum and cokes and chips. A big family group came in and they had two loud obnoxious children with them. Standing there just gawking as if he was trialing for a horror movie, the parents nor the staff had asked the parents to control their children and be considerate for the other customers.

Stopped by for dinner on a Saturday, it’s busy but not crowded and the service is friendly and efficient. We both had fish and chips which was fresh and delicious and came out really fast. Two for one cocktails tonight are a nice bonus.

Dissapointed in my choice for a Birthday lunch. I went here for the first time on Easter Sunday (16th) and decided to shout myself a cocktail. Out of the 3 staff members not one knew a cocktail or how to make one!! Very unusual these days as a bartender normally knows a few. So I had the basic Pina Colada which was the strangest tasting one I'd had in my life!! I suggest some training/course and a book of cocktails behind the bar if you don't want it listed on the menu. I'm surprised they didn't google if it was that difficult!!! The 3 kids enjoyed their burgers & BLT. My friend and I had the scollops which were basically deep fried very overcooked little balls (very similar to pop corn chicken) very dissapointed and the the worst scollops I've eaten in NZ. When it came to paying there seemed to be much confusion between the 3 girls. I ended up asking what the issue was as we were just standing there (very poor customer service skills)one staff member was putting on their jacket and really didn't care. They had lost our order on their system (not sure why the waitress couldn't grab the paper she wrote our meals and drinks on) I suggested telling them what we had ( they were very lucky I'm an honest person!) and they put it through. They didn't even apologise or anything really. All in all very disappointing as I haven't spent my birthday with my sisters for years and found it all very unprofessional. I've been in hospitality and know exactly what it's like and god help these girls when the restaurant is flat out!! This was a quiet day!! They all need a lot more training/customer service skills and take more pride...

Had a group of 9 for a family birthday dinner. Our server was a lovely young lady, couldn't fault her service. The burger and rib meals looked amazing but the calamari/chips meals were a little underwhelming (would be nicer if a small portion of salad added but had to buy a salad separately to go with it) and I paid $40 for a rib eye scotch fillet meal for my son and the steak was really fatty with some gristle. My son ate it as he didn't want me to take it back (he was hungry) but when I mentioned it just as a FYI I was told it would be a bit fatty?? That's meant to be a prime piece of meat and for that price I expected a little better and the carrot puree with it was stone cold, that would have been better warm with the mashed potato. Hopefully they'll take on the feedback as the ribs for $30 looked far superior...
