Joes Cook (Wainuiomata) — Restaurant in North Island

First time trying joes cook, last nights dinner:) my new favourite place, I ordered a large choose 6 options everything was so tasty, and fresh sweet sour pork, curry potato dish, beef bean sauce vegetable noodles, honey chicken nibbles, battered fish, half of the large feed 2 adults, and was enough left over for me to have for next days lunch and I can confirm this place is open late we’ll after 8:30pm and the place was just starting to get busy, I don’t mind at all paying almost $23 for this meal as cost of living is expensive, and with all the staff they take on well over 8 people I’m impressed, everyone in the kitchen with big smiles it gave me a warm welcome coming here the young lady who served me she was the bomb so polite and energetic I’ve been to other take outs near by and it was nothing like this place service was great staff was great keep up the...

First time my partner and I tried Jo's Cook here in Wainuiomata, usually we go to Miramar. My partner and I got ourselves a smorgasbord each, and the food was delicious! I especially loved the spare ribs. Only complaint is I didn't get the text message they said they'll give when the order was ready, so was a little delayed picking it up, and wasn't as hot due to that. I'll go straight to the counter next time...

Can't comment on the food as we decided not to go ahead with our order after been told they have nothing but chicken wings for their dinner boxes but more importantly the service was poor. Girl on phone was ok but the lady in the background may want to remember that the customer can hear you! Plenty of other food places around who don't think their customers are...
