Town and Country Cafe — Restaurant in North Island

I was a regular customer for 3+ years and think their pies, rolls and paninis are best in Wainui. My hubby and I got roast pork dinners one night and hours later we were horribly sick and bedridden for 5 days. Hubby went to dr after 4 days of illness and was told was likely shigella bacteria which occurs from cross contamination of food prep and unhygienic food prep (not washing hands after loo etc). In retrospect we should have rung health dept! As much as I miss their pies and paninis the memory of our horrible illness physically stops me...

Brought a sausage for my son this arvo. And tbh it didnt look fresh and my son said it tasted not right. We got home from there and as soon as we made it in the door my poor son up chuck all over the floor along with the sausage he just finished consuming. Wont be buying from there again if their food is not up...

Here it goes whanau the hard word, First of all you falsely advertise eggs on toast, the toast isn't "toasted bread" it's a cheap flour made crumby thing with an egg on it not to mention the eggs are pre cooked everything made as cheap as possible...
