Mad Toms — Restaurant in North Island

Went out for a drive to get some space and a change of scenery … We ended up at Mad Toms … We walked in and didn’t quite know what to expect but the gorgeous lass behind the bar made us feel at ease and very welcome … I have coeliac’s and it’s not something small towns cater for but the lass behind the bar worked to find a solution … Kitchen staff worked hard to make conditions to do my meal in safer … The food was presented very elegantly and tasted just as good as it looked A+ … THANK YOU so very much … See you again very soon...

Bad move having the dining area along side the bar. When you have young kids you dont really want them seeing and hearing the drunks getting drunker. Also when people go out for a ciggy, all the smoke just waffles in and fills the whole room. Have been before and bar was on the other side so not sure what's going on? Food was way better...

Delicious food, fantastic staff couldn't have felt more welcome especially since we had just been turned away from the club hotel that only had 8 people in it and who wouldn't give us a table because they had another large booking arriving 20mins after the 2 of us arrived. I will definitely be returning next time I am back...
