New Plymouth Golf Club Cafe — Restaurant in North Island

Non golfers welcome and are welcomed with smiles.. Lovely views over the links to the sea and mountain. Lots of parkingeven on competition days. Right now there are big old pohutukawas flowering. The staff are lovely and as there's a group of us that meet every week, they have come to anticipate our orders. Very occasionally when there a big tournament it can be noisy or closed for a private function, but that is not a deterrent....

A shame. Ordered 2 coffee and 2 cheese scones. Asked for scones to be heated. Well they were over heated to the extent they were soggy. The server mentioned this when served. They were unedable and we asked them to be replaced. They were replaced without question. Unfortunately the coffee was very average. So the overall experience was disappointing. $20 was the cost so not value for money. I'd like to think this was...

had a so called meal at a function on 25 July the band was great but the meal wasnt. the soup was cold, the veg was cold and hard and the beef was tough also the chicken was hard and looked boiled and red in the middle. the bar prices were very expensive not club prices. we would not go to any meal there again and warn our friends or anyone...
