Quails Nest is worth the stop for the view alone! The setting is incredible, the decor is modern, and the surroundings are so peaceful.
I really enjoyed the food, my bagel & fries were amazing. Can't wait to come back and try more.
The only thing that I didn't like were the menus. Everything else was so beautiful, which made the menu stick out like a sore thumb.
They are so plain in black and white on A4 paper inside a clear plastic slip. They need to be more compact, i.e., have separate morning and evening menus. It also needs re organizing as they are overwhelming and hard to read. It would be worth getting a designer to help with this, to make the menus as beautiful as the rest of the place!

Read moreFor the prices of the items i would expect a bit tasty food.poached egg supposed to be runny which wasnt.it was solid.everything was fried hollomi, rosti etc.. Lamb salad comes with small diced kumara pieces fried till get dry so it was a big disappointment. Also people definetely need time to place their orders.we cant just sit and be ready.
