This is by far the best Indian restaurant in the northern suburbs of Wellington if not in the city. Food is consistently delicious and fairly priced. They are generous with the spices that bring delicious flavours, and a unique traditional taste to the food. We order there almost weekly and always look forward to it. We never thought about writing a review before, but they are on holidays and we have tried most other Indian restaurants in the vicinity (out of necessity) and have not found anything comparable. Went for the hyped stuffed Paneer Kulche, but the long wait and hefty price tag ($13 per kulcha only!) left a lukewarm impression. Kulchas were tasty but flattened, likely from packaging. Service was slow despite the restaurant being empty. Was advised they are one staff short, but wonder if they could have prioritised my small order, so I didn't had to wait one hour... Might try dining in next time for a better experience, but not rushing back anytime soon.
