Neat little park tucked away in the suburbs. Has newly signed separate areas for dogs off-leash which is nice to see. Definitely check out the storm water drainage and the remnants of the old railway but the waterfall is of course a must. Really great spot on a quiet day.

Surprisingly cool waterfall at the very end. Path to get to waterfall is a bit tricky and includes a few stream crossings so waterproof shoes needed. But well worth it imo. The rest of the walks there are easy enough.

Beautiful little walk. Mostly flat except for the climb up to the top of the waterfall. Make sure you bring sunblock and shoes that can get wet. There are some parts of the walk you need to forward streams.

Stunning place to walk and exercise my dog - I entered from another access route and spent hours enjoying the scenery and birdsong and bubbling stream which was fresh clean water for the dog to have a swim. Lovely benches and picnic tables dotted around. Didn’t get to the waterfall this time but will be back. Real gem of a place. Thanks to council for a place like...

Probably the best dog off-leash area in Wellington. Wide ranging spaces, nice stream, and a decent size to let the dog (golden retriever) go a bit berko. It can be a bit boggy in winter though. Other dog users are generally pretty good too and know their dogs behaviour and it's all pretty friendly and relaxed. Nice waterfall to find as well if you know...

Pretty place to walk, take the dog and kids and even have a picnic - a few tables there. Follow the path and find the hidden waterfall at the end. If you are going to find the waterfall, be mindful that you will have to cross the stream a couple times and the path gets narrow. Loads of blackberry...
