Stopped in on our way to Queenstown and have zero regrets! Locally roasted coffee that was made bang on. Wow it took us a while to choose what to eat having so many delicious offerings in front of us! We couldn't go past the shops signature offering...the Hoagie. We chose the beef brisket, falafel, egg + bacon options and they all blew our mind! Buns soooo soft with quality produce and a total flavour bomb. Then you hit the baking...we ended up filling our travel munchies because the freshly baked selection was too good to leave behind, especially the cheese scone and tan square. Best timing for us today too, with some seriously epic home made lemonade, sold out the front by Stevie B (aka shop boss)

Awesome little stop with something for everyone to break up a good old Southern trip - ice cream, beverages, locally made gifts, tummy fillers plus the option of a cheeky beer too...

Enjoyed a cappuccino here with my partner, seems like a beautiful space to stop along the way or visit if you're in the area. There is a pool (billiards) table! Wonderful seating by a fire place, indoor seating, outdoor seating some areas sheltered. They have a small pleasant gift shop section.

Note Washrooms are a 250m walk down the road, I don't believe there are others available to customers on site unless I missed them. It's a nice walk on a nice day, but worth noting.

I can't help but feel I missed out greatly on some of the other menu items, especially after seeing the large red charcoal bbq operating just outside. Will make a point to stop here again if I pass...

Best brisket you’ll ever have, I know well the best bbq restaurants in the whole of the USA and also own a restaurant in Seattle. travel for food around the world and can say without doubt that Beef here is far better in quality then any available in the USA, it’s grass fed and grass finished and cuts like butter without a too heavy smoke, even considering it was for 15 hours. Had the chicken and brisket bbq bowl and was a great meal, possibly best bbq in NZ and possibly best categorically because of the quality of the beef. Recommend this be a must stop on a trip and thank me...

Stopped here on the way home this morning cause I was craving some hot chips as it was to early for Kingston cafe to make me some. I walk in the door to a rustic atmosphere,The smell of meat smoking away outside, Greeted with a warm welcome I ask if they serve hot chips,The lady replies yes but there will be a wait,No issue as I take a seat and soak up this lovely shop . A few minutes later the lady returns and informs me they have no chips left but can russtle me up some cross cut fries instead,Don't mind if I do ha. Impeccable service here definitely a place to stop 10/10.

What a beautiful place. Popped in for breakfast this mōrena. The kāwhe was perfect and the kai scrumptious 😋. Had my 1st hoagie, and it was so delicious. The place used to be a Garage. Definitely looks different now. Love the atmosphere of the place, and the service was tops. Well worth stopping at anytime of the day. They have an All Day Menu, plenty of kāwhe and plenty of places to sit and chat or play 🎱.
