Route 6 Cafe and Bar — Restaurant in Northern Community

11/27 at 9am decided to give some business to this cafe since there was never anyone there and realized why immediately since HE was unfriendly, uninviting & down right rude - maybe because I am Asian? The rest of the week went to the lovely cafe right across the street which we had a much better experience!

Update I did check with the person I was with and I noted the incorrect date - it was the morning of Wednesday, 11/22. Yes, a he. Yes, your cafe. Yes, no-one but a couple was present. This was a really neat little cafe to stop at. For starters the coffee was great and only criticism is they don't have the proper coffee mugs The large coffee ☕️ mugs were those really wide bowl type cups and I don't like them cause your coffee goes cold b4 you finish it. Food was yummy 😋 and there was a good variety. Prices were very fare. Staff were happy and helpful and made the apnosphere very pleasant. This is also a post office a they had a Cadillac as the counter. Real cool. Going through Lumston NZ then call in here...

Stopped overnight at the FC spot at the Railway Station and popped over to this wonderful Cafe for brunch. Absolutely awesome staff and place set up like an American diner. The food is delicious they have a menu and a full cabinet of very tempting savoury and sweet treats. My almond chai was the best I’ve had in the South. We enjoyed our chicken and bacon waffles and the staff were so welcoming. A fabulous place Lumsden. Also a few craft items and purchased a beautifully crafted merino head warmer. Sooo soft....
