Comically bad that you could write a sit-com about it. One waitress on a Saturday night who forgot to add the starters to her notebook after repeating them to us and also got one of the mains incorrect again after repeating the order. Waited 35 mins for our starters which didn’t arrive then the main courses were presented and the incorrect one lifted to be replaced. The food itself was ok although my pizza was a frozen shop bought base with toppings on it. The white wine was nice so no complaints there. More comedy when we went to pay the check as they don’t accept electronic payment and couldn’t provide we with a receipt. The next day after leaving Dunedin we totted up the check and were stiffed for the non existent starters and charged for the more expensive but incorrect main despite the price of the starters already being taken off the bottom line. All in all more incompetence than duplicity. One of the few restaurants in the location, personally would travel further afield if we ever visit Dunedin again.

Had a lively dinner date with the wife at the Keystone. A little out of main town but worth the visit! The staff were all friendly and the food there was amazing. They even had gluten free and dairy free options. Will definitely visit again :)

Thought I’d check out this place and it did not disappoint. I got served by this lovely blonde girl ! They had entertainment for kids and seating outside and food and coffee was great. Can’t recommend it enough!

I recently visited Keystone Restaurant in Dunedin, and it was a lovely experience. The venue was warm, cozy, and inviting, with a great atmosphere. The service was top-notch - my order was taken in a friendly, no-fuss manner that made me feel right at home.

The garlic bread loaf was delicious and warm, although it might have been a bit large for one person (perfect for sharing with 2-3 others!). The spaghetti marinara was a highlight, with generous portions and a great selection of fresh seafood in a creamy tomato sauce. And the homemade apple crumble for dessert was absolutely delightful - it didn't stand a chance!

As a small touch, the staff made me a Nescafé on the house when they didn't have coffee with dessert, which was a nice surprise. Overall, Keystone Restaurant offers good food at reasonable prices. I'd definitely recommend it for a...

If you’re on the fence, jump off now and head to Keystone! My girlfriends and I had the best time there the other night. The food was phenomenal, atmosphere and pricing on point! We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, he couldn’t have been any nicer. I think this place might be family owned, if it’s not it certainly feels like it is. We all had something different…every dish was delicious, but we all agreed the Pasta was to die for! One friend has celiac, and they were not only knowledgeable about it, but they went over and above to make sure everything was gluten-free. I highly recommend this restaurant. It’s a hidden gem that we will be...
