Natcha Thai Restuarant — Restaurant in Papakura

There was a group of 6 people we had a booking. Ordered a couple of entree's to share and we all found the home made fish cakes to be very chewy and no much flavor some said it was like rubber. We all ordered main at same time. There was 2 waitress on not sure how many chefs few phone takaway orders and 2 other people seated in restaurant. It took over an hour just for rice to come which she serves to you rather than putting on table. Then one meal came out person wanted to wait for everyone's dish before eating as you do but meal was getting cold so started eating 10 minutes next dish everyone had pretty much finished their meal except for last 2 dishes. No one came and said sorry for delay can we offer free bread or something also not replacing water had to go up and ask. I know these are small things but the whole point in going out for dinner and paying lots of money is to be able to enjoy a meal and not have to do things that you would if you were at home cooking for yourself. Also it's a nice restaurant the waitresses could wear a uniform to look more presentable. Also when she was cleaning the table of people who had just left she dropped a spoon on the floor and then wiped it with her shirt and put back on table did not see...

I ordered through uber eats a $60 order at 4:45pm. We Did not get delivery until 7:30pm 2 and a half HOURS!! Insane!!! I had to call the store twice to see if I was going to get my order. They said they had taken the order and were making it. I rang after an hour and a half the first time, I was told it would be 10 minutes. I then rang again half an hour later making this 2 HOURS wait time already. They said yes it is cooked and will be coming now. Another half hour went by and I finally received my order!!! This was passed on to 2 Uber drivers over time as the restaurant had not made my order to be picked up. Over the phone they told me they had an event on and were extremely busy. So why take the order, it was only 2x dishes and a appetiser. I have never waited this long for an order, the food was warm not hot and this was the worst experience I have ever had. I thank the Uber driver who was not at fault. In my opinion Natcha Thai were unprofessional, did not care or have any regard for their customer waiting to eat. I will never get food from them again, and will be sharing my experience with everyone I know. No apologies, and still did not bother to fill my order after the first phone...

I want to give stars because food that I had was good. Fresh ingredient and taste good.

I can see why people give less star and complain about the service.

While I was there there were only two people in the restaurant. One “Cook” and the supposed to be a front of house lady but she has to work in the kitchen as well.

One complaint below said she was rude. to be fare I think she might be in a lot of stressed juggling between front and back of house.

I was there only 30 minutes she misses three phone calls coz she was in the kitchen and managed to answer one other call just because she was bring the food out and the phone happened to ring.

What was wrong with this place is the management need to be revamped. Put one more stuff.

Oh and the “Cook” was grumpy. I heard he was complaining loudly about no one get the kitchen ready before the restaurant open.

I sat at front door I can still hear him.
