I ordered fried rice and was told it would take 20min to prepare. I waited for 30min and asked if the food was ready. The lady owner rudely said it would be ready in 5min. It still was not ready after the extra 5min at which point I asked for a refund.

At that point the lady owner started yelling and complaining about wasting her food and refused to give me a refund.

To be honest had the lady owner at any point apologized for the unexpected delay rather than behaving obnoxiously I would have accepted the food.

Also as she was packing the food the food lid fell on the floor and was still used to cover the food. It is ironic that the owner talks about it being unhygienic to trial one of her other customers foul tasting / smelling fish (per another review).

After covering the food with the lid picked up from the floor she brought the food to the counter and rudely threw the food container towards me. I still insisted on a refund. Finally she collected notes and coins for the refund and rudely threw them over the counter.

Again one of the owners responses talks about treating others with respect. There was zero respect shown for me on this day. At any point in time had the owner apologized or shown respect for her customer there would have been an amicable resolution of the delay in...

Refer to the photo for the worst “chicken thighs” I’ve ever had. The chips were literally thicker! It looked like they had ripped off the skin and just deep-fried that. Others were one thigh ripped in half lengthwise so there were two separate, thinner pieces. All in all, we had five pieces of “thigh” that looked like they were made up from two whole medium-sized chicken thighs. We’d paid for extra chicken thighs too! And because it was so thin, it was just too dry. The flavour itself wasn’t bad but it was a sad excuse for chicken and chips.

I had to ask for serviettes and a spoon for my raw fish, which isn’t the end of the world really. Is the coconut cream meant to be so thick though? They also had to take some time looking for a spoon (eventually giving me one of their silver spoons from the sink) plus one tissue (the type from a tissue box) for the two of us.

Am giving two stars because the taste and service was okay. The fish was good but was still a very small portion. The chips and scallops were decent. The staff were nice but they repeated themselves a lot and weren’t familiar with their menu. It’s a pity because it looks like this place once received...

Wow Amazing!!! This is no typical fish and chip shop it is unique. The burger was Amazing, filled with potato fritters bacon, cheese and beef. The beef patty was the best I've ever had, reminded me so much of professionally home made meat patties. At first I thought the price was far above what it should be but after tasting it I instantly changed my mind, on top of that it comes with chips and sauce on the skxd Best chips I've had in a long time, the chips were the perfect crunch but also the perfect soft.

That burger was amazing was very premium if I wasn't so full I'd go buy another one.

Would recommend this place to everyone and anyone and will definitely be visiting again.
