Absolutely phenomenal! This place is an absolute gem - lucky Helensville.

We ordered five main dishes for our group of five. The portion sizes were incredibly generous, we couldn't even finish it all and happily took the delicious leftovers home. Our order included chicken yellow curry, two chicken pad thai’s, crispy chicken, and a stir-fried sweet chilli chicken dish.

Let me tell you, this is hands down the best Thai food I've had in ages. The chicken was perfectly tender, and the sauces were out of this world—so flavourful that even my teenage son, who usually avoids veggies, devoured everything on his plate.

This is how good it was …… I sat watching my teenage son divide his crispy chicken meal into two plates, because he doesn’t like veggies and this meal included veggies. He piled one plate high with veggies and the other loaded with crispy chicken. I was amazed to see both plates overflowing with such generous portions of veggies and chicken from one dish. One plate was entirely filled with vibrant veggies, while the other was packed with succulent crispy chicken. I honestly thought he was separating them so he could skip the veggies, but to my astonishment, he started on the plate of veggies first! He even remarked on how delicious they were. When I asked why he’d eaten all the veggies he said the sauce made them taste so good. Khao Kang Thai, you've accomplished the impossible! I never thought I’d see my son enjoying veggies. The portion was so big I thought he’d never finish it but he did.

This place is a must-visit for anyone who loves exceptional Thai cuisine!

TOO SPICY.

All 3 dishes were to be mild. 1 out of 3 were not bad but even that seemed wrong as it literally tasted like seafood even though it was a beef dish.

Rice could at least be filled right up to compensate for how spicy they make things but very disappointing once again.

2 were meant to be for my kids to eat and even us adults couldn't handle it. Sickening feeling.

Used to enjoy this place not so much anymore. Regret of so much $$ worth spent.

Staff and atmosphere is perfectly fine but my personal observation would be for them to reconsider their 🌶 🌶🌶 levels.

Especially when in regards to kids because that wasnt mild and unfortunately because of that our food wasn't very satisfying to...

A fancy Thai restaurant located in the town serving authentic Thai foods. It is very clean and tidy looking restaurant with reasonable price tags. Foods are delicious and staffs are kind. Only downside for me is that their opening hours are not regular especially on weekend lunch time so I had missed number of times as they didn't open the place. I recommend calling them before visit the place to verify their availability. However you will have a good experience.
